What is this!?
This is the Original, Natural Flare All Natural Fire Starter.

What makes these fire starters different?
Natural Flare fire starters are made from all natural, renewable, and environmentally friendly ingredients.  No petroleum byproducts like paraffin wax or chemicals.

Why Natural Flare All Natural fire starters?
Whether you are starting a fire in your fireplace or in your hardwood charcoal barbecue, the last thing you want is smoke, fumes, and noxious chemicals.
When lighting a fire in your fireplace with things like commercial fire starters and newspapers which contain chemicals like bleach and petroleum based inks, chemicals and soot are put into the air you breathe!  Natural Flare fire starters however contain only plant based ingredients and produce minimal smoke and contain no bleach or petroleum byproducts.

When starting a fire outside in your barbecue, things like lighter fluids, newspaper, and commercial starters produce noxious fumes, acrid smoke, soot, and foul flavors that end up on your grill and your food.  Natural Flare All Natural starters burn clean and leave no scents or flavors on your food.

Are Natural Flare fire starters good for camping and backpacking?
YES!  Even after soaking in water, Natural Flare all natural fire starters light your campfire with one match!

How well do Natural Flare Fire Starters work?
All Natural Flare Fire Starters burn on average 10-12 minutes with a 6-8 inch flame… enough to get stubborn hardwood charcoal or firewood started with ease.

How do I use Natural Flare fire starters?

Use Natural Flare fire starters just as you would a traditional fire starter.  In your fireplace – Place starter underneath the firewood grate (rough side up), add desired amount of firewood to the grate, and then safely light the fire starter and close the screen or doors per the manufacturer of the fireplace or protective screen.  In your barbecue – place starter in the bottom of the grill (rough side up) under the charcoal if possible (will also work with charcoal chimney starters) and light the starter.  As soon as the fire starter is out and the coals are ready, spread them as desired and get cooking!

Never Leave a fire starter or fire burning unattended.
Never use in an enclosed space without proper ventilation or near flammable materials.
Never use in any unapproved device.
Always obey all forestry service rules and safety guidelines when starting a campfire.
Most importantly, always use common sense, be safe, and keep a fire extinguisher ready.
