Natural Flare Technology
In order to achieve our goal of providing top quality natural products, we had to
look beyond traditional components and methods. The "norm" in candles
involves petroleum based waxes, dyes, and artificial scents. Even
many candles that call themselves natural or all-natural are not (ebay Guide to Natural Candles). Using plant based waxes is
not enough, which is why most "all natural" candles either
turn out not to be, or are plain white.
We were quite simply challenged by the notion of creating all natural candles and
fire starters that defy the norm, and do it while looking and smelling good.
Through research and testing, we have developed blends of all natural ingredients,
from the wicks to the wax, to the dyes and scents, and everything else in-between...
everything is all natural. We have been able to scent and color our products
with top quality essential oils and plant based pigments that don't affect the quality
of the product or its ability to burn.
We also have made steps forward in developing "broader-spectrum" insect repellant
candles by leveraging research available to go beyond just citronella and incorporate
a proprietary blend of all natural essential oils to repel mosquitoes, biting flies,
ticks, and more. What's more, we realize that not everyone loves yellow, and
we created our insect repelling candles in a variety of colors, including a
white outdoor wedding candle!
While our range of scents is not big by anyone's definition, it is because we carefully
craft the formulas to be both pleasant, and serve their intended purpose. While
the essential oil formulas used to add scent to the fireplace starters
are relatively simple to provide a direct, distinguishable smell, the more elaborate
formulas such as the mood enhancing aromatherapy candle or the candle for colds
which targets mood elevation, stress reduction, and
killing bacteria
contain a specially formulated blend of essential oils created based upon available
research and traditional aromatherapy recipes.
At Natural Flare, we're always striving to 'build a better flame" naturally, so
if you have an idea, question, or challenging problem we might be able to solve,
please
let us know.
